Last Monday, Memorial Day, was the first 90-degree day in Jefferson this summer.
According to KCCI’s SchoolNet website, the high temperature for the week ending June 3 was 91 degrees on Monday. Low temperature was 59 degrees on June 2.
Jefferson received .61 inch of rain, with much of it being daytime rain that changed plans for class picnics on the last full day of school.
It rained 14 days in May for a total of 3.4 inches. High temperature was 91 degrees and the low temperature was 40 degrees on May 14.
